Polygonum Formula
According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, Polygonum Multiflorum/He Shou Wu can nourish the hair, nails, sinews and tendons.  It has long been used by martial artists to keep the tendons and ligaments strong.  The blend of these herbs can promote longevity and overall well-being.  

Ingredients: Polygonum Multiflorum/He Shou Wu, Angelica Root/Dang Gui, Schisandra Berry/Wu Wei Zi, Red Reishi Mushroom/Hong Ling Zhi, Organic Alcohol 25%, Purified Water.  *High quality unsulphured herbs.

Polygonum Multiflorum/He Shou Wu
Constant consumption of this famous "longevity herb" is said in the Orient to help return an aging person to youthfulness and gray hair back to its natural color. It is a classic Yin essence (Jing) tonic, as well as a major blood and energy tonic. Polygonum is widely believed in China to increase sperm production in men and to increase fertility in women.

Another attribute of the herb, associated with its Kidney and Liver tonic effects, is its ability to strengthen the lower back, the knees and tendons, ligaments and bones throughout the body. Thus Polygonum is not only useful for maintaining youthfulness but also for providing added strength to the body. It is also used to strengthen muscle. Polygonum is therefore widely used by athletes and martial artists in Asia. It is a perfect essence tonic for the athletically inclined, providing strength, resilience and stamina to the body. Alone, or properly combined with other tonic herbs, Polygonum is an ideal longevity-promoting, anti-aging tonic herb.

Angelica Root/Dang Gui
Oriental medicine often combines Chinese angelica root with various other herbs to provide treatment for conditions such as high blood pressure, arthritis, allergies, and asthma. Limited evidence supports angelica’s ability to increase immune system function; this suggests why the root is effective in treating allergies. It also may possess anti-inflammatory properties, suggesting possible benefits when treating conditions including asthma and arthritis. Angelic root may possibly relax blood vessels because of one of the chemicals it contains. This may make it effective in lowering high blood pressure.

Schisandra Berry/Wu Wei Zi
Schisandra berry calms the mind and nerves, nourishes the Yin, generates fluids, strengthens general vitality and tonifies and protects the heart, liver and lungs. Medicinally TCM doctors use the tonic/astringent actions of schisandra berries to treat chronic cough and wheezing due to lung deficiency, as well as for chronic diarrhea.  They are also used to quiet the spirit and calm the heart, and to treat irritability, palpitations, night sweats, disturbed dreams and insomnia.

Red Reishi Mushroom/Hong Ling Zhi
Regular consumption of red Reishi can enhance our body's immune system and improve blood circulation, thus improving better health conditions. Generally, Reishi is recommended as an adaptogen, immune modulator, and a general tonic. Red Reishi is also used to help treat anxiety, high blood pressure, hepatitis, bronchitis, insomnia, and asthma.
