Made according to an ancient alchemical process, our Potable Gold was created using an alkahest, the alchemical term for something proper to a particular kingdom of life, which also acts as a solvent to substances of that kingdom. For example, alcohol is made from plants, and also acts as a solvent to plant material - so alcohol is one of the alkahests of the plant kingdom. Just as the right process with plants produces an essential oil which is the refined and concentrated essence of that plant's beiing, our new Potable Gold is the concentrated essence of the metal itself, a true essential oil of this radiant mineral.

In the process of extracting gold, 13 possible alkahests can be used, each producing a unique oil of Gold, differing in both physical and subtle properties. This work is not at all like simple colloidal mineral extraction or dissolution with acids to create "white powders", which are just gold chemically burned into salts. In fact, the ph-neutral alkahest is so unlike harsh chemical or electrical extraction processes that the actual extraction vessel can be held in the hand during the procedure.
